Re: It all has to go

We with MI have all done stupid things, some minor some serious. We have to accept this as a part of our illness and put it aside ,move on. If you dont move on ,you will keep coming back to it . Stuck in the rut. Sane people are sworn to none disclosure, their in deep dodo if they disclose any thing about you. When you post I assume you use a non de plume so no one knows you. Let it go . Life is too short to be worrying about trivia. jay2

Hey @ArraDreaming

The fear of other people seeing stuff you wrote in illness or shame or fear or anger is real. No one wants others to see the ugly side.

No one wants judgment or assumptions or any of the harsh reactions that people have when you are unwell.

I've thought about that too deleting everything and changing my profile but it's already out there. If I try to hide my mess if I disguise myself, I'm treating my illness as my identity I'm saying they are right.

If I change my name people will never get a complete image of me.

Stand tall and start again. No one except you can really deny you a fresh start. You are not your illness.
