Hearing Voices

Great you could reach out and share with us what you've been experiencing.

I'm not one who can personally relate to hearing voices. But I can relate to feeling many different emotions.

Do you feel distressed hearing voices?

Do you have supports you can speak to?

I have a friend who describes a similar thing. When she is off her meds she will hear voices (particularly her sister), and she hears a lot of negative things being said about her...

At times like these she likes to have someone to talk to. An actual conversation quiets the voices, apparently.

Thanks Kyle1 for your welcome & response. I actually hear similar things to your friend (!) Could u pls ask her what she does 2 cope with these voices? You said she likes having a real conversation with someone, which is great, but one can’t spend all their time doing this & Im interested in other things she might do to help.

• Hi Tyme! Thanks 4 ur response! Sometimes I hear positive & sometimes negative voices. I do have support, it’s always great 2 have some more! The voices r all people I know so that makes it a bit tricky. It’s gd 2 b positive! Emotional struggle is hard, I hope u have some gd support too!
