@Oaktree I have been doing some more of my front path today - keeping occupied and doing some physical work helps me mentally. I am going to my parents' place tomorrow morning to do a couple of things for Mum then some more of my path afterwards as well as some school work I need to do.

I am glad someone noticed you were absent from Canasta and sent you a message - then you had a good time when you got there so that is lovely to hear. I hope the evening has been kind to you and tomorrow brings with it more sunshine and joy.

Thanks @Oaktree Off to my parents' place this morning to help my Mum do a few things. I will need to go to Bunnings on the way home to get some cement so I can do more of my path when I get home. I should be able to most of it finished today which will leave the next 2 days to do all my school work before we go back on Wednesday.

Do you have any plans for today Hon?

It’s only 7am here which is why I didn’t reply sooner, I was sleeping.

I have to dust all my coat hangers today and I am supposed to go to Church but I am not sure if I will go. Will see if hubby feels up to it. No real plans for today. I have my kids visiting on Anzac Day so maybe a little tidying up ready for that. I have to bake a cake for Anzac Day tomorrow night as it’s my son’s actual birthday tomorrow. Must remember to give him a call actually.

I did not get anything done for my Mum but have taken some measurements of what she wants and will tackle the preparation for a couple of jobs over the next couple of days - then hopefully go back next weekend to do those jobs. I was organised for fixing one thing but when I got there we realised it could not be done and had to come up with a plan B (which I have so can go ahead and get it sorted next week).

I have also cut all the pavers for the majority of the path - just need to concrete in the edges and the harder part under the gate (where there are lots of angles to cut) I am leaving for another day. Going to fill it in with sand for now so it is not a trip hazard and can dig it out easily when I am ready to do that part.

I hope your visit from your kids on ANZAC day is a lovely day and that your son has a lovely birthday tomorrow @Oaktree

Oh that’s a shame regarding your projects for your Mum. I hope you at least had a nice visit with her. I hope you will be able to successfully tackle those projects next week.

Sounds like you have come such a long way on your path. Paving is not an easy job so you should be very proud of yourself! You deserve to take a break.

Oh that reminds me I have to go water my seeds!

Yes I am so excited for Tuesday. I love spending time with my kids.

It was a nice visit @Oaktree My sister also turned up to go to a local festival with my Mum so I got to see her too. Tobes also had a lovely time running around their massive yard with their dogs. I had to be outside with him otherwise he barks at the door - if he can see me he is okay but once he can't, he gets stressed.

I love doing things like the paving. I have done the back path which was 10 times as big. I will eventually do the driveway and a larger back area but that will be some time away ...not because I can't do it but because it will cost more than I can do at the moment. I usually by a few pavers when I visit Bunnings and store them until I am ready - so by next Christmas holidays I should have enough for the driveway.

I hope you have watered your seeds. It is such a wonderful thing to watch those little things grow. We are going to plant seeds and make worm farms in our class this term - the kids are so excited.
