My husband has problems every time he does more.

He is retired so not working constantly as before.

I have done a bit today. Exercises and stretches, gardening, including putting the last of my vegie seedlings. I do this cut and come again style. It worked really well last year for me.

I have a red cabbage .... which is heading up really well ... taken months ... but I am looking forward to it with appple sauce.

this time of the year is my favourite to be outside! 😊

A trip to Bunnings with Tobes this afternoon @Oaktree @Sophia1 @Appleblossom @hanami Needed more pavers but of course it took me longer than really needed because Toby was lapping up all the attention lol Have now cut most of the bigger pavers but need to grind some more concrete and cut the smaller pieces. Settled in for the evening now though so will go back to it tomorrow.

@hanami Thanks, just back from the geurilla garden and doing dinner. Being outside does help me a lot, with purposeful activity and vitamin D and just the rest on the eyes .... and head ... not reading or concentrating ... which I have done a lot for a long time.

@Zoe7 You are far more practical than me. I know many ladies with chainsaws. Its amazing! They are getting into the heavy work. I will not get any power tools. Its a boundary for me. Was thinking about a hedge trimmer, but prob not wise.

@Oaktree Thank you for including me on this thread. It is probably a very wise way to contain contacts, as the forum gets bigger and bigger.

It sounds as if you have all been both busy and productive today. I am glad to welcome you all here. I am used to having sort of private little threads here and there for different things. I love you all and I am looking forward to getting to know each of you better. I hope that this will be a safe space of friendship.

I went to my knit and natter group this afternoon, there must have been 20 ladies there. We ran out of chairs. Next fortnight we are going on a bus trip. We will be having lunch and visiting craft shops.
