Re: Checking in With Inner Self

Hi Innner Self. You are amazing and briliant. You know yourself so well. I note your text is so much about how you feel. It really sounds you and only you are too hard on your brilliant self. Many are so lost. You know how you feel. Perfectionist. Does everything have to be perfect? Perfection can stop others coming in to your life. I think it is your mind and not your body. Relax your mind. Focus on today. Forget about yesterday. Today has enough issues. Write a list of things to do. Cross off what you do. If some things are still on the list in one week, are they important. Do not burn out. Do what you can as good as you can. The saying, "Practice makes Perfect" is not true. We never reach perfection. We can always improve. Do not be so hard on yourself I think. You sound like a brilliant, smart person who wants everything done perfectly now. RELAX. I hope that makes sense and does not offend

Hi again @LostAngel

I can relate to the sleeping too much and the pressures of perfectionism.
As far as my sleeping, things have leveled out in the last 5 months and I am sleeping less. The psychiatrist took me off one of my meds which I think was zonking me out so I believe that helped. Don’t give up, things do get better. Good luck with your studies.
