My Place

Hi guys,

I just wanted to have a thread where I could talk about things that make me happy without bothering anyone else.

So on Sunday a week ago I planted some seeds into a metal tub. Some veggie seeds. Carrots, garlic chives and although it’s not the season for it I threw in some cucumber seeds.

Well yesterday, only a week after planting I noticed my first little green shoot. Then today, there are a bunch of green shoots. Funnily enough I think it’s the cucumbers that have come up first. I may have to make a cloche to help them grow in the cooler weather. The tub is sitting on a concrete path so hopefully that will help keep the soil a bit warmer. I moved them a bit more into the sunshine today as we noticed that the carport was casting shade on them quite early in the afternoon.

I am so happy to see their green little faces pushing up from under that dark earth. Gives me hope in all things. I love to watch things grow. It makes me happy to think that I have played a part in that.

Every day I water them and have a chat with them. How are you today my seeds? I hope that you will grow soon! Now I can encourage them to grow bigger and stronger.

I can’t wait to set up my other veggie garden and grow more things. I am especially looking forward to planting my tomatoes come spring.

Not a good night last night And Mr shaz stayed in bed until 4pm this afternoon

My hip have been playing up big time

i walked down town ,

Then had coffee on our patio , potted around my pot plants

after4 pm

we went for a drive and then got pre birthday takeaways for dinner which was very nice

Suffering with toothache. Had to go to the library twice because I made mistakes on the form for a criminal check for the hospital I am going to volunteer for. Luckily I realised before they submitted it so it should be fine. I just feel a bit of an idiot. I guess that’s what happens when you try and do things in pain. Been taking pain relief and now I am itchy so wondering if I am allergic to it. Been lying down a bit this afternoon because I haven’t been feeling 100% but can’t settle. Just feeling out of sorts. Will have the troublesome tooth extracted Monday morning. Hopefully I will be able to talk Monday afternoon for Sane zoom meeting.

I been through soo many emotions in the last 24 hours

He would not talk to me so I was wondering what I did , which was very hard

Ouchy! I don't like having toothaches @Oaktree .

One little toothache affects the whole body. I hope all goes well when you get it extracted.

Can't say I like having teeth extracted either. I've had 8 teeth removed in the past.... not nice.

That sounds so hard @Shaz51 . I'm sorry you are in this situation where you actually don't know what has happened.

Did you get a good sleep last night? Do you think it is sleep (or lack of) that is causing a bit of friction right now?

That's hard... in bed yet can't wind down to rest @Shaz51 . Maybe it's about fitting some physical activity in so that he can use some of the energy and produce some more endorphins? Do you think that will help?

Mr shaz is doing his hobby on the computer now, ahhhh , he might be doing that for the night now 😁
