Not Sammi's, but 'You've Underestimated Me Dude' by Kate Miller Heidke is another one for a good scream accompaniment @Shaz51 @Oaktree - Kate literally has theatrical screaming in the middle of it! And bonus fun fact some of the lyrics in this song is how I got my forum name 😊

Such a hard but important realisation that no one else can do our recovery for us. What we need is skilled support and understanding, space and time to make our way through our stuff. Sometimes it feels like crawling out on my hands and knees, fighting every step of the way. And it needs to be done my way. Relatable song, thanks for sharing the link.

If I reach out to an artist it’s because I have been deeply touched by the art. I don’t really know what I expect in return if anything? I know artists are extremely busy people

@Blossom497 I totally agree with this!! I don't think recovery is pretty or easy but it sure is worth it!!! And it all starts with making the hard decision to take the first step! The other thing is that you have to keep making that conscious choice every single day to be your own hero and be better. How rewarding, right?! ❤️

I have been very fortunate to work with a lot of creative artists who are also changing social norms. I am starting another next week! I also love older music and commune with the composer in making their music.

I love dance too.

@amber22 , @Oaktree , @Blossom497 , my husband was worried about playing music because of the neighborhood reactions but was able to support and encourage to close the house up and play the music for the afternoon which we both enjoy xx

@Oaktree I think that's perfectly fine to do and we actually love to hear how our music has impacted our listeners so never feel like you can't reach out. I suppose its just about doing exactly what you said and have no expectations for a response. Not every artists is as open as i am outside of their song writing! But i know they would appreciate knowing their music was heard and loved.
