Something’s not right

Again

Again

It's happening again.

The fretting. The tears. The angst and heartache. Another morning waking in a wet pillow, and no way to make it stop!

I'm so tired of this grieving carousel. This vortex of trauma and memory. Blizzard blind in the face of another strange day.

Re: Again

It sounds like you're deeply hurting. It's ok to take your time to grieve, but if you want help moving on, there are professional grief councilors that can help.
If you want to wallow, wallow. It's ok to sit with your feelings. But if you want to move on, there are people that can help. You're not alone.

Re: Again

Hi @Kyle1

Grieving is hard work - no one wants to do it - I didn't want to do it - I did though and all the time I would rather have been doing anything else.

And it did go in cycles - and it's not wallowing - we have to grieve - it's the price we pay for love.

And it does get easier as the years pass. We do eventually need to accept our loss and put it into a safe and loving place in our memories. It never goes away though.

I don't know what has changed in your life - or how - or when. Mostly we assume it is a death - it can be loss of anything that is still valuable to us. And it is normal. It's just painful.

I am sending my best thoughts and understanding about what you are going through - I do care and I also know it's normal and natural and unpleasant. It's also necessary.

All the best with all of that

Re: Again

Thanks @Kyle1

I wish you the best through your journey - it's not easy - this I know - and it is a very important part of your personal growth.

I found this to be true - I was changed for the better when I had to grieve.
