WorkCover Queensland are having a review.
I’m participating as a member of an independent committee. I would like some feedback on the experience members have had going through the WorkCover process.

To identify deficiencies and advocate for change. I’m the partner of a person who sustained a traumatic acquired brain injury and is experiencing latent onset injuries.

Re: Forum

hi @Baileyte

Nice to meet you. I am sorry to hear that your partner suffered the injury described. It must have been very hard on the both of you.

I cannot help you with the study but i hope it helps you, and the wider community to further refine this important service.

Please make sure you do not allow it all to overwhelm you as i am sure parts of this may be upsetting.

Glad you are able to participate though :0)

Hi @Baileyte,

I'm so sorry to hear about your partner's long journey. It's fantastic that you are part of this committee, as your firsthand experience is invaluable. From a patient's perspective, I've found that clinics specializing in complex cases, like Workcover Hills Doctor, often have great insights into where the system can be improved. They deal with these issues every day and could offer a lot of useful feedback for your review. I hope your work leads to some much-needed changes for the better.
