Feeling Lost

Feeling Lost

i feel really lost in life. i dont know what i want to do in life or i do but it doesnt seem overly acheiveable. im so indecisive all the time. i dont know what to do.

im finding myself getting so jealous of other people who are doing well and succeeding in life. i normally love whe those around me succeed but sometimes i wish their experiences were mine. so many things have changed in my life or have been placed upon me that its hard to see the next day sometimes.

Re: Feeling Lost

Glad you had them checked out @outlander and that you are safe.

I know your life is not what you want, that your responsibilities are piled on your shoulders.

I'm sorry you have to go through that hon.

Is there anything we can do to help?

Re: Feeling Lost

I'm sorry to hear that @outlander - I have been out of touch so maybe you can update me.

Are you still caring for your Pop? - having problems with your mother? Are you having physical health issues as well as mental health issues? Are you still working with horses?

You are such a valiant battler Outlander - yet things seem to be set in your path so much

All my best thoughts

@Owlunar

yes im still carer for pop, nearly 8 years now. i also work now in a disability company a few days a week as well.
ive completed my certificate 4 and have been a team leader for a few months. looking to study again at the end of this month at a skills course
still have the horses and still help with my sibling as well.

i have a condition called CRPS amongst other things associated with chronic pain. i suffer alot from dissociation, SI, SH urges, nightmares./flashbacks, and associated symptoms from C-PTSD, BPD, anxiety and depression.

i dont know @Snowie its nice having you guys here but its so lonley offline. people only talk to me when they need something.
i am getting alot of anger as well. the persons horse who trampled me has taken my job, my clients, and has taken up the opportunities that i was offerred but i had to turn down because of their horse. it just seems very unfair that they get to live their life to the fullest and lapping up all the opportunities i wish i couldve have accepted while im here trying to afford medical treatments and having to travel hours to access what im needing and having days where i struggle to walk or sleep or even breathe.

Re: Feeling Lost

I know what it is like to be lonely offline @outlander I feel like I have no friends to talk too.

It must be hard going through all you are and seeing what this other person has. I'm sorry you are going through so much. I hope that it changes for you soon.

There is not much I can say to help but please know that you are special to me.

Re: Feeling Lost

Aw @outlander

I know about Chronic Regional Pain Syndrome - that is tough for someone so young.

I know other people who have it and I know it's very painful and hard to manage. As someone who lives with severe shoulder pain now I understand how debilitating chronic pain is and I hope you can get into a pain clinic somewhere some time

Eight years caring for your pop is a long time and wow - as tough as that is I admire you for doing it - goodonyer Outlander - I can't imagine what sort of strain that must be

And you have been successful in getting into a disability position - and got a certificate with a future as a team leader. All this with all the issues you have to deal with - as tough as it all is - and I have achieved in getting through my studies with all sorts of obstacles - I admire you. Well done

And you still have the horses - that's so cool - and one of your sisters at least - what a life you have - full of all different good and bad experiences.

And you have PTSD and anxiety and depression which I do know about - and BPD which I don't. And I am not at all surprised that you have other unpleasant urges as well

So - yes - I hear you when you say your mental health is getting worse. I don't ask why but rather why not - you have battled for years.

Keep in touch.

Sending goo thoughts
