The high

The high

Have you ever thought about the honeymoon fase and how it differs between people? Well i can say that I've had a hard time realising it but every new relationship I have,it's like I'm riding a massive high and I'm on top of the world . Then all of a sudden I realise things aren't quite what they seem and it's like I don't cope and I have a massive come down. Then i try to work through it and it's like I'm chasing the high. I do things I'm not proud of and act in ways that I regret.. anyone had this feeling?

Hey @DannixD ,

Seems like this 'honeymoon' phase can be applied to many things in life - not just relationships and weddings.

For example, I've seen the honeymoon phase in jobs where people start off in a really good place, thinking they are in a dream job. However, overtime, they 'see' more and more so that things start crashing down.

Whether with jobs or relationships, I think the main point is to understand why you are going what you are doing. What is the end goal? If the end goal is before you, then perhaps it will guide you in your actions and provide realistic expecations?

Thoughts?
