Don't want to be here anymore

Don't want to be here anymore

Truth is, with everything that has gone on this last few years, this year, this last few months, this last week, even just today. It has only pushed back into the minefield of thoughts of really not wanting to be here anymore.

Why the f should I bother anymore with anyone or anything?

Done with this life....

No one actually cares....no one actually wants to help....no one actually wants to hear that you're not doing well....and then they complain when you've been put in hospital for an o.d or whatever....what do these people want from me....do they wonder why I f spiral....

Hey @Loz_3647 popping by to say hang in there. I know it's tough. You are still here... You've made it this far. I'm sure you must have some pretty good qualities to continue the battle as long as you have. People care - not everyone. I promise you they care.

Just not the ones closest to me...not the ones who are in my world and are the ones who are supposed to matter... just makes me think that I mustn't matter....

I am the same @Loz_3647 The people close to me - who I expected would be there for me... Are not. I understand, it hurts lots - & makes me doubt if I am worthy. Well, we are♥️ It's up to us to see the people who do care. The ones who don't - they are not really our family or friends.

That's really deep about how those closest to us have bigger impacts on our self-worth.

I think that's part of why I tend to keep people at a distance.

Shows how important our regard for each other is.

Deep & beautiful @wellwellwellnez I liked how you saw a different view than I did.

Re: Don't want to be here anymore

Beautiful and also scary @maddison . I still believe that loving self is foundational to loving others. At the same time, it's hard to ignore that the opposite seems equally true.

A lot of self-love is modeled on the love we receive from others. Getting conditional or toxic love means it's more easy to end up putting those conditions/toxicities on your own poor little self.

That means there's no fixing self and then fixing world. There's only fixing while being broken.

So, being a lived experience mental health advocate of any kind, is like the blind leading the blind through an eye surgery procedure.

It's a bit of a messy interpretation of recovery but it seems recovery can get that messy.

I think I'm reminded (and it's been so long since I've realized this) that one of the best things we can do with our relationships is allow them to be re-written or rediscovered. That goes for selves, those close and distant strangers.

Re: Don't want to be here anymore

Well, yes it is scary - terrifying, when we consider how easily it is to disregard one another.

The fact the you saw the importance of regard, & wrote it here, that gave me pause.

It does seem to be equally true (loving others to love ourselves)... Is that because we are coming from a place where we need to be fulfilled?...Or can we expand our own self love by loving others?

Your analogy of 'the blind leading the blind through an eye surgery procedure' can definately be true. It's best to accept all things with a grain of salt.

I'm thinking the opposite must also be true. We each are born or develop our own unique gifts you share with the world. If recovery is a ladder - then those on higher rungs can pass healing down, enabling higher steps reached - for both♥️

From that aspect - it's possible we do have the tools to fix the world?

What is fixing anyway? Does it need to be immaculate.. impeccable.. Or is functional all we really need?

Forgiveness.

The rewriting of relationships (all). Not saying that how you hurt me is accepted - Saying I have the power to continue walking forward....perhaps I will see you there, perhaps not.

Don't even consider cide as a valid option coz it's not and never has or will be - lifes not always fair and sometimes we get a raw deal from it but nevertheless and speaking in general terms life is a gift and shouldn't be taken for granted ever , life is the most precious thing to ever exist and only through your life as an individual human being living on this planet have you been able to experience the beauty which it holds and every good thing you can ever think of , every single thing you appreciate from this earth , everything you value here have only been accessible through that life so honestly mate it's time that you got with the program and got grateful coz life mate deserves more credit than what you're giving it - peace out and tc , from Rhysie boy
