Hey @Mel77 you are on the public forums. If you would like the webchat it's via this link
Sorry to hear you're having a hard time. Do you want to talk about it more?
Unfortunately we aren't a crisis service and I would encourage you to reach out to crisis services if it's of that nature. Please take care 💝

Hi, thank you for letting me know I am forum. Sometimes it is just to difficult to think straight! It is such a constant struggle to get through my days, and it becomes exhausting and I wonder how I am going to get through tomorrow when I dont seem to get a chance to recover from today.

Hey @Mel77 ,
Yeah, the forums here are a bit like that until you get used to them. I tend to use the "NEW" notifications tab to keep track of my conversations and people's responses to them.
Hence, if you want to tag anyone into your replies, you simply type "@" in front of their username.
But yes, you are doing the right thing on the forums. I'm sorry how exhausting it feels. For me, depression is like that...drains all the energy out. Then I have this 'crash' day as a reset. Then I start all over again.
You are welcome to introduce yourself at Welcome! Introduce yourself here 🙂

Hi @Mel77. I have only been here for 2 weeks but I felt like I had no idea what I was doing. I was really confused at first with how to reply in the threads, I thought if I hit reply it would only go to the person who had written that message. It feels a bit ambiguous because it will say something like "replying to... name" of the last person in the thread.
I have taken part in 2 of the Thursday night topics which have both been terrific and quite insightful.
Yesterday I threw myself into the "Cuppa" forum and that was lovely.
At first, I thought no one was using this forum until I realised that the most recent posts are the latest page numbers.
It all sounds obvious, but I understand that when we are feeling overwhelmed, our ability to think and look at different options can go from being the whole dart board to feeling like the speck that the tip of the dart makes in the bullseye. It can all feel so hard.
I joined this space as part of a safety plan to get me through Christmas and the New Year and it has definitely outweighed my expectations as far as support and the ability, to be honest. I think it will be something I stick with even after this time.
Hopefully, I will see you around.
