I have lots of small things to look forward to. I think mostly I'm looking forward to summer and visiting some nice water-holes. Plus a festival I love is running for the first time since before the pandemic started.

That is so exciting to hear about your best friend coming to visit! That is such a long time not to see them, you must be buzzing about it 😀

I am looking forward to the holidays period, I have a holiday booked up the coast with my partner, and we haven't been able to get away for nearly two years together. We used to travel around a lot, but we have both not been prioritising it since being back at full time work. It will be so lovely to get away, and hopefully the weather will be nice for us too.

I agree! 💜 We don't always get to see it in the real world, (I don't know why?) Warms the heart & spirit knowing that other generous, kind souls are out there...& I mean really kind! I love reading posts members supporting each other. Reminds me what I really value in life.

I'm so glad you are looking forward to your friend returning. My only fear is that members might read this & instantly think,

' well, my life sux - I have nothing to look forward to - I don't have any friends." etc

I am very sure about one thing myself regarding the above: that no two days are the same and that your tomorrow will be better, if not it will certainly be different. My lovely friend Kylie said to me the other day that "tomorrow will be better." and it turned out that Kylie was right!

Oh yes, I misread that before, that is so great that your best friend is returning back home to Australia. That is such a long time to be away from her, so that is super exciting!
