Hi my name is TinTin

I'm 42 just had my birthday last thursday 29th September. I'm living with my partner, we are engaged. We live in a private rental in South Perth. I'm studying part time in Certificate III in Business at South Metro TAFE. My partner fiancé is currently looking for work in customer service roles.

I suffer with Paranoid Schizophrenia, I was diagnosed 21 years ago. So I been going thru this for long time.

My parents passed away, mum 2011 and dad 2017. I don't talk to my brother. His in NSW with his wife and children. We not talking at all because my brother and sister inlaw doesn't like my partner, they think he can't look after me because he doesn't have work etc. Had major fight with them after our dad past.

My partner is good to me, we get along so well, just doesn't have work. Am I with the right guy, is my brother right? My partner and I have been together for 6 year we're not married, but we're planning it.

hello, i think if you love them and they are kind to you and treat you with respect then that is all that really counts lots of people are out of work through no fault of their own and it doesnt mean they wont get a job at some point in time.

When I read my post I thought to myself I'm engaged to a wonderful guy. So for me to be happy, that I have someone in my life.

welcome @TinTin1 ❤️ I think if you read your post and felt happy, that's the important thing. Nobody can tell you how to feel about your relationship.

I think my question is about whether you want more of a relationship to your brother? If you do, is there a way for you and your brother to talk again?
