Something’s not right

Not loving myself

Not loving myself

Hey, this is my first time ever doing something like this but I needed someone to talk to even if no one actually listens.
I never realised how hard it has been on me to grow up ugly, all my friends get showered in compliments and get boyfriends and live happy normal lives with them. Meanwhile I have never held hand with a boy. No boy has ever looked at me and it hurts so bad I just wanna :pistol:. But they would never understand. I’m fat and ugly and I’m a ranga but hopefully soon I will be shown mercy and god will end this struggle for me.

Re: Not loving myself

Oh, dear! I've been there! I spent 33yrs there. You are not ugly where it counts. I know, I know that means shit with how you feel right now. But it's true. Try listing 10 things you, only you, like about yourself. Start with personality or character traits then try physical ones.

I am overweight and buck toothed personally myself, I felt, and often still do, ugly and unwanted I became sucidal and can understand deeply. Know you are not alone. I know you probably heard how finding someone won't solve anything BUT it will help. It will achieve healing in ways you cant do alone. I know sometime you need someone else to say it. It may not be believeable at first but if he/she is a good person they will see those 10 things on the list without even seeing the list. My partner is GORGEOUS and 11 yrs younger than me but he took on an "ugly" person and all my insecurities. Even if things don't work out you'll be able to take that label off of being "Never held hands with someone" that freedom will last beyond the hurt, and if it works out you'll know that it wasn't true. You are not ugly. You sound positively gorgeous in soul. That's what gets the good ones most. Only the shallow ones demand external beauty. If you like movies try watching Hairspray. Or Vicca of Dibley or even Penelope. All about love and beauty of the real kind. They help me. Never feel down about needing to cry and watch sappy Movies eating snacks on the couch when you need to. Just don't let it be an all the time thing. I know hard to do, but at least try. Also, remember that mirrors ALWAYS lie. ☺ Don't give up on yourself or the possibility of love. If you still draw breath then there is still hope. That's what helps me. Hope this helps you too. Good luck!

Re: Not loving myself

It's a rough day for me, missing my partner, unsure of us. I've been worse tho, so I guess it's OK.

How are you feeling now? Got anything exciting planned?
