I can’t cope

I can’t cope

Hi. I’m new and have never been in anything like this before.
I’m really struggling with depression at the moment and just need a place to vent.
there is no reason as to why I feel this way. I just hate myself and feel like I’m an unworthy and useless person. I don’t have a partner or many friends. I feel like I keep pushing them away when I’m down. I’m just not worthy of them. I hate life and just wish I would go to sleep and not wake up. I feel so much emotional pain inside but numb at the same time. None of this makes any sense but it just how I feel.

Re: I can’t cope

Tooo funny @Captain24 . Of course my niece and nephew want to come with me! I'm one step ahead in that regard. I took both car seats out of my car so I don't have any seats of them!!! Woohoo! Winner winner chicken dinner!

The weather was good the first 2 days and now it's raining a bit and colder. But we have the heater in in the tent so it's fine.

I still worry about my BIL. It's not like he has any income - still. It's like his own business that's not going anywhere - yet. I dunno. I just help them pay the house and they can pay me back when they are able. Money's money.

I'd rather work than have the kids. Work is my down time! As I've said before, I love the forums, and I love to be here 🙂

That was a really smart idea @tyme!

It sucks that it’s raining and cooler. I hope the heater is warm enough.

Oh I’m so sorry that he is still struggling. I was hoping that he had started earning an income when you said he was working. I hope he gets a few clients to boost him. New business can take a while to start up.

You are such a good sister and a caring person to be helping out like that.

It’s awesome that you love your job. It makes working so much easier. It’s even better for us! Lol. Plus it’s kid free time!

Re: I can’t cope

Nah, he doesn't make much money at all - if any @Captain24

I think my sister is going back to either 4 days or full time next year for work. I just help out where I can. Money comes, money goes.

My niece looked at my Apple watch and this pink passport wallet I have, and out of the blue said, "When you die, can I have your watch and your passport wallet?" Then she was so terrible to be around, so I said to her, "Are you trying to finish me off so you can have my things????"

Kids.... now i know what they mean by giving parents grey hairs... after having them recently, I'm really glad I don't have kids. I really couldn't do it. Would you want your own kids?

Re: I can’t cope

Will the youngest be in school next year? @tyme Your will your BIL look after them?

That’s a bit rough! Just tell her if she keeps acting that way you’ll give them to her brother! She sounds like a bit of a handful at times.

I always wanted to have kids and I’m a bit sad that I don’t as I really don’t have much purpose. When I get old no one will care. But at the same time I wouldn’t have the life I have if I had kids. Plus I didn’t want to end up being a mother like my mother was. So that’s a bit of a mixed bag! Lol

Re: I can’t cope

Yeah, I think I feel the same. There was one point I said, Yeah, having kids is good... but now... no thanks. Unless I have one, but then that's not fair on the kid... so it's better I don't have any.

The youngest still has two years before school. So my BIL will do more of the drop offs and pick ups. At the moment, he does pick ups three days. He wants my sister to take the job offer, but she's still thinking about it. @Captain24

As much as money helps with things, children are only young once - so she wants to enjoy them. The workplace is good though. She can go in late or leave early if any kids have a special assembly or something and get an award. She also goes for the school's special events.

Re: I can’t cope

A lot of people just have one @tyme. With daycare and school they make many friends. I always wanted 4. Then in the end I would have been happy with one but I’m too old now.

The kids are only little once and when they are little so much changes with them. When they are at school it’s easier. It’s good that she has a job that is lenient with school functions.

Does the youngest go to daycare?

My best friend has a son and I always

looked after him while she worked when she lived in town. I saw him crawl for the first time and take his first steps. She missed both.

Re: I can’t cope

I wanted 4 too @Captain24 ! But now, I'd feel guilty with 1. I would spoil them too much. In a way, I like these three kids fighting, because I know they are learning from it. I just walk off and let them deal with it.

Yes, the youngest goes to daycare 3 days. We went to the shops this morning. My niece touched a drink bottle at the front of the store and the guy at the front gently said in a playful way, "oooo, that's my bottle. Don't touch". My niece turned around and said "I don't want people to talk to me!" and walked off... she's so so small but has such a BIG personality. She's the boldest of the 3. Just jumps into a cold swimming pool; she falls over and grazes both knees but just keeps going; she's this little fighter... and I can imagine she would have to with two older siblings. I reckons she'd be very different if she was the only one.

She sounds like a tough little thing! @tyme.

When my niece was little about 3 she had a t-shirt that said ‘I have attitude’ a lady in the shop said ‘ oh you have attitude do you?’ Jokingly. My niece turn around and said ‘ I DONT HAVE ATTITUDE’ then turn to my mum and said ‘nanny what’s attitude?’ It was priceless!
