I can’t cope

Hi. I’m new and have never been in anything like this before.
I’m really struggling with depression at the moment and just need a place to vent.
there is no reason as to why I feel this way. I just hate myself and feel like I’m an unworthy and useless person. I don’t have a partner or many friends. I feel like I keep pushing them away when I’m down. I’m just not worthy of them. I hate life and just wish I would go to sleep and not wake up. I feel so much emotional pain inside but numb at the same time. None of this makes any sense but it just how I feel.

Thank you for responding to the email @Captain24 - it's appreciated.

Just one day at a time my friend. I've been in a similar place a few times over my life and I know it's not easy and it can be very tiring but from my experience it does pass.

Very close. @Former-Member. I am the favourite grandchild out of 11. She has dementia so it’s a blessing but I’m going to be heartbroken. But I need to be there for my grandfather and mum.

When her dementia was starting I was the only one to be able to get her out of an episode. My grandfather, mum and I were the last ones she remembered.

@Captain24, that sounds like a very special relationship. Being heartbroken sounds like a really normal response to losing someone so special.

And it sounds like you're really being a rock for the rest of your grandfather and mum ❤️
