What keeps you awake at night?

What keeps you awake at night?

I'm almost asleep and then suddenly i hear thoughts (like swear words) going through my mind.

I try to go back to sleep and then

A dream of somebody trying to hit a homerun in baseball but the outfielder jumped up and blocked it from going over the fence.

It was so distinct i got up and decided to check out the baseball news.

Matt Monagan article on baseball paradise. "It's a place you wanna come to work to every day." says Steven Riddle; manager of athletic facilities at Point Loma Nazarene University.
huh... i just bought a book about Jesus and the article is about nazarene university?
"there used to be a chain-link fence in the outfield, now it's padded," Riddle told me. "Except for what we call, 'Windows.' It's where we left the chain-link so people can see through, see the ocean, see all of what we have to offer."". Something definately wrong with that situation.
So here i am having dreams about baseball and i've got nothing todo with baseball at all, never watched it. (although my very suspicious uncle was a baseball umpire)
Do dreams keep you awake at night as well? Have you managed to use the internet to figure out what the dream was about?

Hi there @MattsOpinion
In answering your Q. - I often get impacted by my dreams especially if they are very detailed. It can sometimes effect me into my day - just in my own reflection - I find that some emotions can carry on over into the day & I may not realise until something spurs my memory.

I’m curious if you keep a dream journal at all? I have on & off at different times & also know people who do & use it as a way to connect their subconscious with the conscious worlds.

There are various schools of thought around making meaning of our dreams & just wondering if you have found what works for you? Have you found clarity by referencing sources online when seeking meaning for yourself?
