Something’s not right

Was feeling good now want to crawl in a hole

Was feeling good now want to crawl in a hole

Life’s been pretty good for me the past year or so apart from the expected bumps along the way but tonight I felt like I haven’t felt in a long time

completely excluded, less then and completely irrelevant to anyone else
having been bullied my whole life up until adult I was really hurt when tonight I was made fun of and excluded in front of a whole heap of people at a space I thought I was welcome at, a space that’s just for me and I can be myself, it’s the one “hobby” or thing that I do each week to have me time away from my young fam

And now I just want to hide away, why do I bother putting myself out there socially when it always ends up with me being hurt

I’m so sad tonight

bought me right back to being a hurt little kid again

I’m ok now just took the wind out of me a little bit

This week is my youngest sons 1st birthday and although I didn’t sleep very well last night I’ve been thinking about how much I have grown the last year and that was helpful to get out of a slump after feeling so down

I'm just gonna reply because i feel like writing.

I'm guessing you feel things a lot, and when things are normal you know how to cope with that. But sometimes somebody says something upsetting and it can be hard to deal with cos you feel it so much. I used to be like that but now i'm like the rock and nothing gets to me. But i dunno.... reading your message, i can understand being sad, feeling wrong feelings and stuff - but then you also say you have a family and thats something to really be thankful for.

I mean, it probably seems normal to you, but as a single bloke whose never had kids i reckon the fact you have a family is the greatest thing and so like... your allowed to get upset or sad, but also remember you got the best thing in the world!

So why worry about what some stupid people say, learn to have fun with your fam and jump over the bumps along the way.
