Thanks @oceangirl @Gwynn
I believe it's normal to be feeling this before a time if uncertainty
Today I decided to catch the train fir something different. At least this way I can chill out before work
I have 2 weeks left of this job. I am still wondering if it's the right decision but I know deep down I can make something happen with the time I'll have after I leave

I mean there is uncertainty everywhere these days after all

Re: Hams is hurting

I realised today dear friends that part of the reason i am hurting is that i realised i am leaving a job where i am appreciated and respected.

In todays world it is hard to find that. But in the end i made this choice to leave because there are other things on the horizon i feel i have not explored. Indedd, these are things i know i have not explored.

Right now my job is a bit like a roast dinner, with all the potato, carrot, pumpkin, gravy, the peas and brocoli... but no lamb. While all that other stuff is great, this job does not provide the lamb. One can try to mask that lacking with other things, but it doesnt cut the mustard.

Indeed a colleague told me last week that he thought i could do more than what my job is. It is ultimately proof that we are all capable. More than we imagine.

My friends. I hurt for good reason. But alss, i am only human and the beauty of being human is to feel sadness for good reasons as much as it is to feel it for bad reasons.

Yes Hams is hurting. But he knows this feeling type well. Its the same bitterswedt thst kicked in when i couldnt go back overseas to my monthly course in warsaw. I learned from that.

Hams is hurting - but differently this time

He is concerned about the future and not having a paid job. But he will be gaining experience and learning more skills in an area he thinks is interesting. He just needs to be patient and not be so harsh on himself.

@MDT I feel your uncertainty and concern. Heading off into the unknown is also very brave. You a being vulnerable and giving yourself the opportunity to grow. This is a great strength 🙌

In the end too it was about what I was spending time on - my job was not fulfilling and the only thing it gave me money. But I could feel myself losing my abilities elswhere. I guess I Just refused to waste my potential
