Feeling alone tonight
I'm struggling a bit this evening. I'm really missing my kids and being really enfolded in their lives.

That can be incredibly hard @esprit. Have you got any ideas about what you can do to distract you from feeling like this for a bit?
I went through several periods when I wasn't able to see my kids and it was awful. I tried to think about all the special things we'd done together and I'd write letters or send them silly but fun pictures Id drawn. By the way : I'm not good at drawing.

Distraction is only part of the solution. Relationships with children are with us regardless of whether we see them or not.
I am going to see my brothers' 3 kids from his first marriage this week .. so i am happy about that.

@esprit. My son just went to his dads today. I was thinking how nice it would be to have the house to myself. However, I keep turning on the couch to ask him if he saw that - on tv.
So I'm posting on here tonight - trying to think of other things.
