@Nikolai. I think my greatest discovery has been finding my old self again and discovering new aspects of myself that I never knew. I am liking who I am. This only came about with the help of a wonderful psychologist. I do not have BPD. But others on this forum do & I'm sure they will respond to your post and be able to share part of their journey. Wishing you well

Re: Searching for meaning.
I was raised a Christian and my grandfather was a minister. In my late teens I got sick of all the rules and decided I was tired of trying to be perfect. So have been away from it the last 10 years. BUT I have to say after my grandfather died last year - to me he had been like God in the flesh and Gods love - I have felt so much emptiness. Then after being in the hospital a couple months ago and the challenges my husband and I have had to face lately, I have found peace and solace in Gods love and Jesus teachings in the bible and also in prayer. Sometimes I just sit in the beautiful music and I feel so much peace. This has been a great help for me personally so thought I would share. 🙂

Hi @utopia I am so glad to hear your story, I would love to make that kind of progress, but I guess everyone has their own journey at their own pace.
@kdoll I can really understand and appreciate the peace that having something to believe in and find comfort in could bring. I guess that's exactly what I'm looking for, just need to find what is right for me. Thanks for sharing!
