Everything music

Everything music

Hello guys! Tonight myself and @Bunniekins had a bit of a discussion about music. So, rather than mix too many topics in the same thread, I've decided to create a whole new thread dedicated to all things music! Let's share our love of music here @Bunniekins, @Molly22, @Judi9877, @TAB, @MDT, @LostAngel, @Dimity, @frog, @Anastasia, @Appleblossom, @LookingHopeful, @Meowmy, @Eve7, @Zoe7, @Peri, @Jynx, @Daisydreamer, @Shaz51, @Exoplanet, @BlueBay, @Former-Member, @Emelia8, @AusieRecharger, @Former-Member, @daddy and anyone else I can't think of! Share your musical knowledge and talent, please!😆😂👍

Re: Everything music

@Former-Member thank you for your concern about my well being. the carer in question is happily married. she would never in a million years would think i have a crush on her ..... the thing is it is her mind that i love not her physically. she is not my type really so nothing will happen.

i am not interested in her sexually but i would love to kiss her. oh well that wont be happening any time soon.

@Former-Member are you adopted? i am. i am half croatian on my birth fathers side. i met my birth mother but we have drifted apart.

Re: Everything music

I'm not adopted @Bunniekins my biological sister was relinquished by my mother at birth and adopted out into another family.

I keep collecting adopted people for some reason since. I think its because I know the hardship adopted people face - the pain and anguish.

Were you able to meet your biological mum or were you just happy with you own family situation?

Re: Everything music

Oops sorry I did not read your message properly, my apologies @Bunniekins. I wasn't kind of present as I was coming out of my morning meditation practice and staring at a glaring screen. Yes thats good you got to meet your mother, at least you have some closure. I had a next door neighbour who did not care much for her biological mum as she was raised by a good adoptive family, however the biological mum was desperate to know her but she kept pushing her away. My sister however was very damaged by the adoption process and so was my mother.

Re: Everything music

@Former-Member i met my biological mum but she is a cold fish.my adopted mum is much warmer so i have let my biological mum go. apparently my birth father was called slavco and was very handsome but not a kind person. he left as soon as my birth mother told him she was pregnant. it was a messy situation. sometimes it is best not to dig up the past.

Re: Everything music

@Former-Member yes the adoptive process is damaging to me at least. i would love to meet my birth father as my adoptive father was so awful (he is dead now and it is a blessing to all concerned).

Re: Everything music

Yes its all very messy. I think the adoption procedures in times gone by were well-meaning with the best interests of all parties at heart yet so wanting of humanity. Both my parents have passed on. Dad was previously married before he got with my mother so I also have a half-brother and half-sister I have not met by his previous marriage. I have decided not to go there so haven't met them. I also have a surviving brother @Bunniekins

Re: Everything music

@Former-Member @Bunniekins it is sad, but also interesting to read your talk about birth mothers. I can identify in so many ways. Sadly once family dynamics are a bit skewed in that area it can take a while, generations, to settle things down after the damage done.

I was a bit past focussed as I needed to understand what happened as it mattered to all my siblings.

Now I can shift from past, to present more easily, so I guess that means some healing is done.

Last night I went to a concert. It was local. Met a group from my new church. It was very classical and very good and I knew one person on stage, but the great thing was there were lots of people I knew in the audience, and so leaving was very social for me. I felt the MOST connected I have ever felt. An interesting thing is that one of the people was from the vax protests and one was greenie and the others were Labour party, so it was also a very political night. Luckily they did not argue, as they were there for the music, and did not know each other or their political leanings.

Feeling a lot coming together for me. Hope you all are as well as can be.

Re: Everything music

She is also a Trump supporter but decent to my son.

Her dad was a cop in Taiwan, so seen a lot of authoritarianism ... there are usually reasons for the way people turn out ... but she is here. For her protesting was fun. There are all types in dis world.
