Today is a sad day- it would be my mate's birthday today, if he hadn't passed in 2020.

I will always remember thrashing/headbanging about in the car with mates to this song.

Thoughts with you today @StuF. 2020 is pretty recent, and I imagine it might still feel a bit raw. I hope you're able to look out for yourself today while you honour your friends life – it sounds like you had some pretty great times together!

2020 Is recent, but of course along came covid, so time has been kinda weird!

We'd been mates since high school- so over 30 years. We shared so much of life in that time.

Fortunately I'm still mates with others from that time, so we all support each other 🙂

Definitely agree with you there – I lost someone I loved in 2019 and it feels like it was a whole lifetime ago. Covid has had a way of turning even time upside down. 30 years is a lifetime for some, and sounds like it might have been a significant friendship (head banging to Alice in Chains is a priceless memory 😊). I'm really glad to hear you're supported by a great group of mates. Hold that tight @StuF, we're lucky to have friends to walk through life with.
