Everything music

Hello guys! Tonight myself and @Bunniekins had a bit of a discussion about music. Let's share our love of music here @Bunniekins, @Molly22, @Judi9877, @TAB, @MDT, @LostAngel, @Dimity, @frog, @Anastasia, @Appleblossom, @LookingHopeful, @Meowmy, @Eve7, @Zoe7, @Peri, @Jynx, @Daisydreamer, @Shaz51, @Exoplanet, @BlueBay, @Former-Member, @Emelia8, @AusieRecharger, @Former-Member, @daddy and anyone else I can't think of! Re: Everything music

Hi @tonys Yes I'm in Perth.

If you're missing out on the 43C heat (about 3 or 4 days in a row), about a week ago, by not being here - Then that's probably a good thing.

I've been here almost 30 years (turning 55 in 2 weeks), & I've never got used to it.

It's gotten hotter, the average temperatures have officially (measured) gone up here, over the past few decades.

I don't miss the Sydney traffic congestion (at all) having lived there 25 years - Yet the Cooler temperatures in NSW & a lot more rain, would be nice.

Re: Everything music

OH thanks @Adge . I have a little map somewhere so when I read post, I get a mental picture of where they are.. I spent many years on the road and somehow missed exploring Perth. But I'll

get there one day. I know what you mean about traffic in Sydney. I have phobia's about it.

Hey tec heads. That means you @TAB . My beaut OLED screen on my laptop is going crazy. Big

white square in the corner and lines and blue blotches all through the screen. Its only just barely usable.

So if I vaporize. The laptop is back at the store. Its still under warranty. Any Ideas what causes a screen to go. No I haven't trod on it. Even bumping it causes patches of it to flash and go wierd colours cant see some of what I type. Oooo screen went black. Had to reboot.

Houston . . we have a problem tonys

Re: Everything music

yeah, its cooked @tonys sounds like many screens seen die, from tvs to old semi=touch nokias lol check serial number, make them give you a new one, not replace screen

um geek brother as in mine was in/is in IT over the years ..says .. only use laptops as last resort , parts are flimsy, are dearer as everything has to be smaller etc etc

he has some ginormous thing in spare room w 2x 19 inch screens, but uses a Chromebook the rest of the time, mine is the biggest clunkiest laptop on course and its only like 4 years old, most others 2/3rds size, sounds like am contradicting myself, well 2 things

laptops dear and fragile

if you have to have one, does not have to be that high a spec , esp if chromebook eg as not Windows (re oversized operating system that needs lots of hardware to run apparently google books have own system that uses less horse power ? who knew

@Adge hi Adge my daughters birthday is in just under a week. she is a beautiful pisces like yourself. i remember as a twenty something a real hot day would be 30 here in Sydney we lived on the coast. Now you are talking a couple of days 40 plus ridiculous! Hi @TAB s @tonys and @StuF xxx

Re: Everything music

Thats interesting about laptops @tonys @TAB. I never bought a laptop and had no idea they were flimsy and fragile. When I bought my reconditioned desktop iMac took out tech insurance just in case. Same with my ipod and Andoid phone. Paying a bit extra is good for peace of mind. I got insurance money back from my old ipod which crashed over summer which was good. I hope you get your problem sorted @tonys! Its a hassle. I reckon you'll be covered with warranty. The company I'm with does make people jump through hoops as they want to be absolutely sure that they don't have to cough up.

Re: Everything music

have been using cheap Samsung last 12mths maybe . if it were an iphone, would have gone through 5 at least the amount of times have dropped it.

However, a lot of the dropping is due to its size, self ejects from pockets when sit down lol. another plus is battery life, prob 3x

just saying.

Re: Everything music

Yeah mine is a Samsung Galaxy Android A32. Have been really happy with it. Admittedly have dropped it from my desk a few times but its in good working order though. I use a crossover bag when I go out to hold my tech so doesn't fall out of pockets. There are some great crossover bags for blokes. It just won't fall out @TAB. I have a sling version. Ebay is great for crossover bags. I also put my keys in it. Mine is a cheapy but it works a treat
