I think @tonys is right @StuF you could always get a cleaning job its what I used to do. You don't have a boss supervising you and you get paid for what you do. I don't know how physically fit you are for cleaning or whether you feel inclined to do such a job given your situation but there are cleaning jobs.

You could also work for NDIS and be a personal care attendant. I used to get a young man with muscular dystrophy off to school in the mornings.

What about being a disability aide in school? I used to do that you just get someone with disabilities access education in the school system. All you do is roll up to class and get a disabled person fit into the education system. You would be good at that. You would be very kind sensitive and understanding to a young person

Yes well @Former-Member .. The point I try and impress on people is the amount of disposable

income out there, just desperately searching for willing pockets. 10 trillion dollars is set to be handed

down in inheritance in the next 20 years.. Record savings. Super coming on stream.

Don't be fooled by the TV. about 5 to 10 % of people may be going backwards. The rest just cant spend all the surplus cash. Taylor swift concerts, overseas travel, new cars, I phones, pet insurance Buy a dress n , throw it away.

Lets do lunch every other day..

All just wanting, you, to take that cash from there comfortable, entitled , soft little fingers.

My head feels a bit funny - I just SENT THE EMAIL!

Long time since I've quit a job.

Ma & Pa were as supportive as expected but I needed to speak with them first.

Anyway, head is scattered in relief. Been wanting/needing to do this for Long time. Probably take a while to sink in.

You did the right and professional thing @StuF , and I'm proud of you my friend. The letter of resignation is symbolic in your mind. Its a clean and professional severance. A fresh line tween yesterday and tomorrow and speaks of your fine upbringing and character. It defines your standards

clearly above theirs. I have a few people I share things with and I'm telling them, pay attention folks.
