Something’s not right

A Tough Year

A Tough Year

Last year was undeniably one of the toughest years I've had to endure.

2 broken bones

3 rounds of major surgery

A major emotional breakdown

A psychotic break

Catching my partner engaging in an online affair and being gaslight

A 10 year relationship ended

3 weeks in total in a psych program to avoid hospitalisation

My mum having to take on my dogs

Losing my home and effectively becoming homeless

I think it's safe to say I am depressed and for good reason too. I wonder how I'm even still here and fighting each day, part of me wants to give up and looking at the past year I can see why. It's been tough.

This year the only resolutions I'm setting is to find a place of my own and get my dogs back. I'm not setting any others except maybe being kinder to myself.

This year has to be better right....

Hey @wild_rose

That was an extra horrible year. Words probably dont do it justice.

Good idea to keep goals simple and en pointe.

Here's Hoping it gets better.

@wild_rose Yes, i am going to guess and say that with all the additional knowledge gained last year, you will have a better year this year.

Looking forward to hearing all about it as well.

The only good thing about hitting rock bottom is the only way to go now is UP!

All the best for a good year ahead @wild_rose

Good luck with this, and I hope you can find a home very soon, that will let you have your dogs too.
