Starting to struggle

Starting to struggle

I was doing so well, my moods where manageable and now I feel like I'm losing control my anxiety is bad my flashbacks are more present, family are causing lots of stress and controlling me I don't know what to do, it all feels really to overwhelming.

I feel like my whole world is falling apart, my stress levels are high, my moods are always fluctuating, I have random anger outbursts, I'm isolating myself from nearly everyone.

My dad hasn't even really contacted me, I'm really upset, I feel like he doesn't care or even wants to give me a call to see how I am. His wife is really controlling and she tends to judge me. They want me to go to Christmas with them and I don't even want to see them.

I find this time of year is triggering.

Am safe

Don't overload yourself, @Fluttershy1. Learn when to step back and look after you. It's not always possible, I know.

Take care.

Hi @Fluttershy1

I'm really glad you reached out. I know caring for someone can take up lots of time and energy. I like how @Historylover mentioned to be easy on yourself.. If you can, take breaks only for you.

Sending you strength 💪🧚‍♀️

X thinking of you x

@Historylover @maddison @TAB @Shaz51 @MDT - another day another mess. This is not going great. I’m coming off meds to go onto new ones without anyone watching or supporting me through this. I’m done. Am safe

Hey @Fluttershy1 🦋

I'm sorry to hear that things are feeling not so great right now. Coming off meds can be really difficult and you certainly deserve support and monitoring at this time. I wonder if there is a doctor or support person that you might be able to tell? It can be a scary thing to be doing alone. Take good care of yourself Fluttershy and treat yourself gently through this time 💛

Well hello to you @Peregrinefalcon - you came outa nowhere, my doctor doesn’t bulk bill anymore and yeah, it was with the psychiatrist and they said I don’t need to be monitored and it feels like everyone is letting me down. I feel so alone 😭😭😭

I got stick insects

Re: Starting to struggle

@Peregrinefalcon - so I’m stuck in the middle of something and I don’t know how to respond, I wasn’t invited to my dads birthday dinner and then his mum turned around and invited me and told me that they have given up on me and I don’t know what to do or say

Re: Starting to struggle

That's a really tricky situation @Fluttershy1 and I can imagine it might have felt pretty hurtful.

While I can't tell you how to respond or what to do in this situation:

What is your 'gut feeling' telling you about it?

Is there a family member you feel comfortable talking about this with?

Also: Their choices do not reflect your worth. You are worthy of support and compassion 💜

I will be logging off now, take extra special care of yourself. I hope that here can be a nice space to chill out and feel accepted and supported 🌻
