I can absolutely relate to that rollercoaster that doesn't seem to have any highs but let me tell you that you WILL be okay. It's not helpful that you have to wait that long to see a psychiatrist because usually when we are at this point, reaching out for help, it is when we are - for lack of a better word - desperate. You sound like you need something immeadiate and I think you have made a wise decision by coming on here and an even braver decision for posting. The truth is that even though you're not enjoying the rollercoaster you're on at the moment, they always have an ending, where it slows down and next thing you know, you're on a flat straight travelling towards the opening where you can get off it and reflect on what you've just been through and feel okay.
Because you will be okay.
Having only just joined the forums myself, I hope that there is content on this site that is helpful to you and gets you through each day. Because that's just what you need to do for the moment - get yourself through each day. They don't have to be good days but you just have get through to the time until your meds kick in properly and until you can speak to someone professional, in person. Think of the things in your life that you are grateful for and incorporate them into your days as much as possible to get through. Please believe that you are not alone in this world.
You will be okay. You will be so okay and it will be worth the wait.
