Forums evaluation

Hi All,

Can you believe the forums have been open for almost 4 months now? I can’t decide if the time has flown, or has gone slow!?

In order to continue the great run we've had & to build on what we started with, we will be running an evaluation on how things are travelling for the forums. This will take a few months – from now until March next year. Within the evaluation you will have your opportunity to tell us how you think the forums are going. What you have loved, not so loved, if they helped & how we can improve. We will be sending this survey out to you all towards the end of year (it’s anonymous & optional 🙂 ) We will also be looking at common themes in the forums by looking at some of the discussions & posts you have all contributed to, and finding out what topics are important to the community and how we continue to make the forums relevant and useful for you and future members. We have randomly drawn 4 winners of the voucher and will be contacting them on Friday.

SURVEY TIME: Let us know what you think about SANE Forums

Now that we have gathered some initial thoughts from the open feedback questionnaire, we have put together a SANE Forums survey. If there is anything you love or dislike about the Forums, now is a great opportunity to let us know. Whether you read over the Forums once every now or then, or post every day, your feedback is vital for the growth of the community.

Please take 15-20 minutes to complete this survey. So that you can have your say, the survey has multiple-choice questions and open-ended questions. By completing the survey, you’ll help us improve the Forums to build a strong online community.

They survey is completely voluntary and anonymous. It is not attached to your profile so any feedback you provide will not be connected to your online profile.

My apologies for the late reply. I've been away on an Xmas break. How are you?

Thanks for asking the question about the previous survey - it's a great point, and I realise it may cause some confusion.

The first questionnaire was deliberately an open question to let members on the Forums tell us what they think is important. In turn, this helped us to create more specific survey questions.

Rather than creating a survey with questions about things the SANE Forums team think are important, we wanted the survey to be based on members' experiences and feedback. So based on a few people's feedback and analysis of some discussions, we created the survey that is now up and running. The purpose for this is to see if what a few members report is also experienced among a larger majority of people who use the Forums. I hope that makes sense.

So anyone who is reading this, whether you regularly contribute to the Forums, or use the Forums to just read content, please take 10 - 15 minutes to complete this questionnaire.

It will let us know what we can do to improve the service.

Welcome back CB - we missed you! Hope you had a lovely relaxing break.

Thanks for the reminder about the survey. i think after the break is a good time to fill it in, as we are probably even more appreciative than usual about having the forum and you wonderful caring mods!
