Another tough day

It's one of those days again when everything is getting on top of me. I'm struggling to keep my head above water financially, I need to keep food on my family's table and a roof over our head, but with work being unusually quiet (and I'm casual) I've been losing a lot of hours, we only just scrape through when I get a full week. Doesn't help that my son was sick yesterday and couldn't go to daycare, I lost a whole days pay staying home to look after him. I can't see an end to the stress and financial struggle. I'm looking for a full time job with better pay but haven't found one yet. Struggling so bad right now.

Have a chat with the Salvation Army particularly since you're doing casual work and the hours available recently have been limited. They will be able to help you wit food vouchers to help het you through this tough time. Worrying aboutmoney can be incredibly nerve wracking.

@MK05. Like @Kurra said. There are services out there to help you manage when you are struggling financially. There is no shame in seeking help. I've received food parcels and supermarket vouchers before when I've been struggling financially - especially when my boy was young.
Hang in there. Keep searching for that full time job. One will come up soon & then you will be able to pay off any bills and maybe put a few dollars aside each week.
