Hello @Clawde , @Emelia8 , @Appleblossom , @Bunniekins , @Dimity
and others visiting the Keeping Happy thread
Gosh it's Friday already and dates for meetings in 2022 are already being arranged. As we get older the days, weeks, months and years {interestingly, by 'Freudian slip', I had mistakenly struck the letter "T" in the last word, making it "tears" } seem to go past at an ever increasingly rapid rate. For me, that is the reason to pause occasionaly "to smell the roses", remain aware of the present moment and enjoy the 'sensation' of happiness as much and as often as possible.
To some degree, I believe, we actually have to consciously seek out those opportunities for happiness and not just assume that they will magically appear in front of us, though that does sometimes happen too. Writing in this thread, here today, affords me the opportunity to be aware that I need to look for happiness in just about everything I do, say, write.......etc.
Happiness needs to be something more than that which may happen to appear "on the doorstep", {in an industrial sense, happiness needs to be manufactured - delete that thought.} While we may not manufacture happiness, I believe that we certainly need to look for it and seek it out as much as we are able in everything that we do.
Today, I am happy to explore the theme of happiness in my life and be able to write about that theme of happiness in a forum post right now......
Thankyou @Clawde , for presenting me/us with another opportunity to consider the value of happiness and the opportunities through which to seek happiness in our lives.
With the wish for much happiness, in as many places as people may care to search for it, for everyone
With My Very Best Wishes
@HenryX
