The Ice-Memery

The Ice-Memery

Well hey there good folks, welcome to the Ice-Memery. This is a space where I will be sharing all the flavours of positive mental health memes I have collected over the years.

I have always found memes to be a low-effort way to share highly relatable experiences and ideas. So I've decided to share some of the ones that have helped me through tough times, shown me something new, or given me a hearty chuckle.

  • I aim to update the thread weekly with a few new images each week
  • Sometimes I might follow certain themes and other times just things that make me laugh
  • Feel free to share your memes too! It can be anything really - jokes, funny pics, cartoons, even cute animals if you like!
  • Please DO talk about any of the themes that pop up; if something resonates, if you disagree, I wanna hear about it.
  • Please DO NOT share any images that are stigmatising, triggering, or anything that is racist/sexist/discriminatory in any way.

If anything doesn’t sit well with you, tell us about it! You can talk about it here in the thread or email us at team@saneforums.org.

I hope to bring a smile to anyone passing by. So without further ado, here’s a double scoop of creamy memery:

Enjoy, friends!!

I liked the mixture! @Jynx

The rainbow over the water is amazing! Loved the dopamine one and Mortita about losing yourself. I'm always up for a bit of a laugh and thoughtful reflection. Are you doing okay?

@Jynx that "psychadelic swamp" in north florida.. may have just been mentally added to my to-see list now! I know someone who lives in northern florida, so the region is already on my "when I go to the USA..." list. Although not sure that I'll be going there anytime soon, with their current border-security-even-for-tourists situation. 😑 Very pretty sight though - amazing to think it is natural.

@Eve7 😊💜

@heartathome I'm chugging along alright hehe ty for asking! Dreading having to brave the busy-busy shops tonight 😶😅

@AlwaysMyself yeah it's a very intense situation over there hey. I've always wanted to visit New Orleans but... maybe not for a decade or so 😬

Re: The Ice-Memery

Yeah, I'd dread it too! @Jynx

As far as Christmas shopping goes, I've only bought something for my five-year-old friend. She's the granddaughter of my ex next door neighbour, who passed a couple of years ago of MD. We'd been neighbours for over 25 years, and I've known my friend since she was born.

Our coastal town balloons in the holidays, and I hate food shopping at our small shop. It gets overloaded with people! I have to psyche myself up and put my 'blinkers' on before I get out of the car. 😉💛

Hello @Jynx , Ive just returned from the shops and I’m all done except for some food for the big day. I’m hosting this year which is what happens when you put in a new kitchen!

Oh hectic @Eve7 hahaha. Are you someone who needs space whilst cooking or do you like having someone in there to help out?

@MissGremlin buy yourself a journal and some gold stars. Write down some weekly goals and daily tasks to achieve those goals. Give yourself a gold star every time you complete a goal. There is no reason adults can't have gold stars too. Goal journals are an eye sparkle of mine; it can make a huge difference to mental health.
