HAPPY BIRTHDAY !!!!

Thank you so much @Shaz51. I checked in so many times yesterday and thought you had forgotten me 🤦🏼‍♀️! It wasn't too bad though. I had a birthday wish from my very special niece - the one I felt so dreadful about hurting recently. She is the most wonderful person and I am so grateful that she is my niece.

I had a quiet day - studying mostly - and I am currently deep into areas of study I have never encountered before. I am relishing the challenge and cannot get enough of it. So much to learn about using the computer to fullest advantage. Of course, I am not at this stage. Anyway, one week of thirteen done and dusted!

So many birthdays today! Happy, happy birthday everyone!! Hope you all had a wonderful day.

Hello @MDT. Well, it was a good day but I missed the birthday wishes here as I thought Shaz had forgotten me. I checked in about half a dozen times. It didn't matter. My wonderful niece sent me a very early birthday wish and that really made my day.

I spent mine in study on my thirteen week course - Tertiary Learning Strategies. I am loving every minute of it and have already finished my first 800 word assignment in the first week - due 20 September. That wasn't difficult but the next one will be. A 2000 word assignment on one of 5 subject choices, with research from 4 peer reviewed papers - with references. I've never done such a mammoth task before and it will challenge me. I'm something of a perfectionist and would be so disappointed if I have to hand in work below my own expectations. I'll have to see how it goes. Looking forward to the challenge.

How's your works going? I hope you are over the slump you were in recently - if I remember correctly?

Thank you so much for your birthday wish @ShiningStar. I had a wonderful and productive day. After receiving a most welcome and unexpected birthday wish from my wonderful niece, I went shopping and studied for the rest of the day. Mundane for the most part - except for my niece - but enjoyable to the hilt anyway. I am a study-addict! It's giving me direction and purpose and I am revelling in it. Only a thirteen week course at the moment but I hope it will lead on to further and more difficult work. I love a challenge.
