I’m in a bad place again

I’m in a bad place again

I haven't felt this low in months or maybe even years

I just want to go back to bed and spend my days there

I don't feel hungry enough to eat so I just don't

I don't remember when I last went for a walk either just can't be bothered my head feels hazy

My partner keeps trying to help I get cheered up for a minute after we chat about it but the next day or after a couple of hours again I just feel like I want to curl up and go back to bed

People keep saying this is normal everyone is struggling in lockdown, yeah ok, doesn't mean I like feeling this way

Miserable is the only way to describe it

But why am I miserable when I have a beautiful partner and 2 kids and I have come so far in life

what a fail

I'm sorry to hear you are feeling helpless @ArraDreaming

I know when I have felt helpless in the past it has felt like it will never end. But eventually it does pass as @BPDSurvivor said. It's definitley not easy though. Your pain is very real and sometimes it doesn't make sense or matter how well our life is going on paper, the pain is just there.

Sounds so tough. It can be so hard to sit in a place of hopelessness.

Sometimes there are no answers - and that's absolutely okay.

Sometimes we don't know what to do - and that too is totally okay.

Sometimes we just have to wait for the dark cloud to pass - and that's okay.

This isn’t living this is just waiting and I have been “waiting” for the next little while for almost 2 years now, the next week the next day the next easing IM FUCKIG OVER IT!!!!

@ArraDreaming Feeling stuck and like we are just waiting for life to begin again is soooooo hard.

I know I had a period in my life in the past where I felt like I had no control of influence over my day to day life. And I was suffering a lot. I was just surviving, if one could call it that. I really empathise with your anger, hurt and frustration rght now.
