My little 'A' is 4 today!!!!

My little sweet beautiful granddaughter 'A' is 4 today!!!

I can't believe she is 4 already. Where has the time gone. It felt like not long ago that I wrote on here that she was born. Wow time flies!! 🙂

I decided to write a little poem about my little miss 'A'

Little A

My precious little granddaughter

turning 4 today has made me realise

how time has gone by so quickly

and here you are today at 4

From the moment I lay eyes on you

and held you when you were a few hours old

I knew in my heart that we would be close

as i snuggled you into my arms

I am so glad I had the priviledge

to have you and your mum live with us

for almost 2 1/2 years and see you grow

it was so much joy

All the fun things we have done together

there are heaps

the beach, the bath, cooking, dancing

singing, playdoh, painting, story time

sleeping in my bed

All these little things will be with me forever

I treasure these moments i have with you

because no one can ever take them away

there just yours and mine

The tears are flowing

i don't know why

for you keep me safe

from this dark dark life

You have been my light

at the end of the tunnel

you have picked me up

when i had nothing to give

You have made me smile

when i thought i couldn't anymore

you have made me play

bringing me back to my childhood

You are my special beautiful intelligent

little girl

who I am SO PROUD to call you

my sweet little A

ps. and I am so glad your middle name is mine and also your great great nonna
