Something’s not right

Something is not right

Something is not right

I dunno if this is relevant to this section but I wanted to share it.

I watched over the weekend that lockdown will continue. We have many cases in NSW.

I saw that the Taliban has taken Afghanistan in a matter of weeks. Peoples lives have changed. Dramatically. Such human suffering.

I read about cultists in Nigeria killing people to send messages and parents finding their 17yo son murdered.

I hear about mother nature unleashing on one part of the world and I hear about horrible diseases killing people

My heart rarely aches for anything beyond my own life experience and those surrounding me and whom I come into contact with.

I have a small joke that of aliens existed then they wouod not arrive here. They would avoid our planet. It us unstable both naturally and also due to the humans on it.

Why are we so unkind to one another? There is so much torment and agony in the world.

Then it hits me - we ourselves in our own individual lives must enact good and kindness towards all.

A friend of mine has usher syndrome - she is deaf and legally blind. I just want to be a friend to her. She is sweet and good and I believe that the world doesn't have enough of that. She was asking me basic questions about myself. I have no issue here. I think she does this because there are no other ways to communicate for her except through written word.

There are so many lonely people in the world. Just be a friend to them. Today at work i spoke to the concierge for a bit. It would be a lonely job because no one is around. He joked about being on "discord" which is like zoom or Skype. But specifically he said this about social isolation because of lockdown. I right away knew both the pc program called discord and also the isolation we feel due to lockdown. Its all a laugh really.

The man who runs the coffee shop near my work is still going with his business. I fear he may close soon. The coffee shop near my old work.. I have no idea about and I am tempted to leave 5 mins earlier one morning and go there. It'll be open. I enjoyed going there for coffee. Before he was there the owner was a different man. He was a character. Before Christmas last year he said he would move. I said goodbye. I didn't know he would be gone. I went back and he had closed shop already. Life moved on you see. I missed that interaction. I missed it a lot. But new ones come and we have them.

Feel free to tag whoever you want. Share experiences and we can learn.

We can learn what's not right and perhaps work together to find a way through.

Re: Something is not right

I'm sorry to hear you've been having a hard time @Clawde but I too am glad @TAB was here.

Like you said, sometimes it is just one foot in front of the other until suddenly we look back and don't realise just far we've travelled. 🙂

Oooh @Clawde

Sorry you were feeling down and I was not there for reply. I went to my physio. I do not have a phone so not online access all the time just at home on lap top.

Glad you had some contact.

It is my way of reducing outside input and keeping some equilibrium ... in this very mad world.

as @MDT posted.

White iris and purple ones are budding at my physio garden. They finally see the results of my planting last year.

Re: Something is not right

hey @MDT that is so well written and i totally agree with you, i also use discord and i know what he means you have contact but still feel isolated. i always try to be kind to anyone i meet, i don't know what there life has offered them both good or bad.

just a hello, bye or thank you can mean so much to those who recieve it way more than the individual giving a comlement realises.

the world is a mess at the moment, it is out of our control, all we can do is try to vote in people who will make things a little better. unfortunately here we have a destructive government. we should all try to do good in our own little way and if everyone did this the world would be a better place.

you have such depth and deep thoughts into this @MDT it is so nice to see im not the only one. remember deserata mate, i live my life by it.
