Something’s not right

I picked the WORST time to have a breakdown.

I picked the WORST time to have a breakdown.

This thread is edited.

Initially, the thread was about my family not letting me leave the house, despite the fact I am allowed to. I am frustrated by people overthinking or misunderstanding the rules.

However, I just found out that I am a secondary close contact. I am getting a test tomorrow, and apparently I am still allowed to go outside if the test comes back negative... however, it is getting really difficult logistically.

I am supposed to have a doctor's appointment tomorrow. I have an appointment with an intake counselor on Thursday. The Acute Care Team called me today, but I couldn't answer.

I can't talk on the phone, because I don't get enough privacy, and I can't go outside to talk either. So what kind of treatment can I get?

This won't be a problem in six weeks, but I have to stay (as the name suggests) sane in the meantime. After I test negative, I have to go to work... and I have ABSOLUTELY no-one to talk to. Not even professionals.

I am at a complete loss.

Oh no, @Former-Member , what a difficult situation you are in!

I want to suggest ringing a helpline, but that would be difficult if you can't go outside to get some privacy. What about standing just outside the back door or something? (I'm not sure if that's feasible)

I hope your Covid test comes back negative...
