Something’s not right

Just over everything

Just over everything

I'm just over everything. No matter how hard I try nothing seems to be good enough. It just seems that whatever I do I'm in trouble or getting punished.

Hi @Stollie,

Welcome to the forum and sharing your feelings with everyone. I'm one of the moderators here.

It must be exhausting to keep trying and nothing seems to work your way. Do you have anyone to talk to?

The forum has contributors who are very supportive and some have tried heaps of things over and over again too. People are very keen on brainstorming different strategies that work or don't work for them. Not that you have to take the suggestions but at least I'm able to tell you that you're not alone here 🙂

Take care,

Hi @Stollie

Has something in particular happened to make you feel this way?

Or is it a combination of things?

Re: Just over everything

@Stollie. It's awful when things seem to always be going wrong. I have depression and anxiety and ptsd. My depression used to really push me hard. Nothing seemed right. When in a depressive down, my negative self talk was always so harsh. Everything I did was wrong. I was worthless etc.
Having gone through therapy with a great psychologist - I can now see that my negative self talk was wrong. I do have lots going for me. I have happy and content moments. I'm feeling so much better.
Have you spoken to your gp about how you feel? They are a great place to start. They can refer you to a psychologist.
There is help available.
