We're having some technical difficuties!
I tried using a URL rather than a straight up photo, and that should work. If not, it's a quote.

@Former-Member My ex left me after 23 years of marriage when I was in the midst of a full blown psychosis. I have forgiven him but he has not forgiven himself.

I don't know about loving someone more than they deserve...
Do you mean if they are intentionally hurting you, then they don't deserve your love?
If so yes I agree.

Wellyou asked how do I feel? I don't care about being hurt... It will happen to a degree in all relationships... It can't all be roses all the time. That is unrealistic... Humans are flawed and we need to learn and grow. Love will continue loving regardless... But if you are in danger or being hurt too much you need to love yourself enough to remove yourself from the situation. A toxic relationship which causes distress most of the time is not worth it... Not only are you letting the other person hurt you... You are hurting yourself by staying. I am old enough to know romantic love is an illusion... Real love is gentler and no so dramatic.
