Group Fiction Writing.

Group Fiction Writing.

Hi gang,

I am part of another thread (started by @Sophia1) that is doing a kind of group story. It's so much fun so I thought that I would invite anyone who may be interested to start another story here. Basically this is how it goes. One person starts a little story and then leaves off part way through, then the next person comes up with the next part and so on. It's great because although the first person has some idea of what the story might be they don't know what the next person is going to emphasise or what direction they will take the story in. I don't know who may be interested but I will tag a few people that I have met along the way. Now you don't need to worry about being a good or bad writer. The idea here is to just let go of reality and enjoy yourselves a little.

@Lilaca @Sophia1 @NatureLover @Ripples @Emelia8 @Shaz51 @Exoplanet @Appleblossom @Anastasia

@Snowie @Zoe7 @Daisydreamer @HenryX @Bow @saltandpepper @Eve7 edited to include @bipolarbunny @Bunniekins

My mind has gone to mush and I can't think of more tag names. Please feel free to tag all your friends also, the more the merrier. I don't know what the opening story should be about yet so if anyone wants to start us off be my guest 🙂

Love Meggle

Milly had been deep in thought and hadn't seen let alone heard the bus, not until it was almost too late. She froze, luckily the bus stopped just in time. Her fur stood at attention and one of her nine lives flashed in front of her eyes. Phew, I'm ok she thought.

Milly collected herself and continued on along her way to find a sunny spot in the garden away from the pesky dog.

@Anastasia .

I don't know if you changed characters without me realising or if you got the name wrong, but in case it's the latter, I have to point out that her name is May, not Milley.

They are both cool names 😁.

EDIT: OHH, OK, I see what's happening.

Milley walked into the garden, and in the corner of her eye, she saw a beautiful fountain. It was just high enough for her to take a sip.

She had one of those near-death experiences before. Had she panicked, she would have missed out on everything a cat would have to look forward to. Every bowl of milk or bit of catnip. The thrill and terror of running into dogs. Geelong's next premiership. Everything.

She would have contemplated for hours had she not been distracted by the fact that the bus had stopped, hundreds of metres up the road.

@Adge

@Bunniekins

And anyone else I may have missed.

HINT: At this point, May decides to get out. Why, though? 😉.

Hello @Former-Member

Yes, I decided to write about the cat following on from @MDT s story telling. Just mixing it up a bit. Maybe Milly and May become friends? Sorry if I confused you 🙂

Re: Group Fiction Writing.

The long bus ride to school was usually such a bore, but this one had been different from
the very beginning. She usually had to run to catch it just in time, but this morning it was
patiently waiting for her? The gloom she had felt at facing the 'casual day', had lifted in
a place of Pegasus; the first fright with the dog had brought her back to reality, she was
a little disappointed. With the second fright something weird happened, somehow she
knew the cats name was Milly and she was sharing her experiencing life-flash! May
could not take her eyes off Milly, and then she saw him. He was dark with flashing black
eyes and a cheeky grin and the fountain, which Milly had taken a sip, was now a multi-
coloured, glowing portal . . .

May looked behind her at the school then looked back at the colourful portal. There was no question. She stepped towards the young man dressed in high tops, jeans and a white shirt. When she reached him she grabbed his hand and together they stepped through the portal...
