@tyme hello . thanks for asking, had a busy day. hope yours was good, i came across a post a couple of days ago about homeless discussion, i lived in this arena for many years so i penned a graphic depiction of a day on the steet. i was going to type it in the computor but, there was no post option on " tideisout" site where i read the message. lucky i put it on paper first.. it can go in my folder, so another mystery . not sure how you participate in something that doesnt nave a post option? ..my prayers go out to the homeless.. tonys from moonbase ones.

@Abner hello abner, thankyou for your words, i was lucky to find them, im having a lot of stress learning to find my way around this site. yours showed up in my email box only tonight, or i would have missed it' im in agreement with you. words are everything. they cant be hurried, they are the finger prints that define one man from another. my street education makes for a limited comprehension at times but i can usually see the waterfalls through the mist and feel the flavour intended. and that which i dont understand, is often the most beautiful treasure of all. as for poetry, yes i do but best not to encourage me. i always seem to see the same thing, ten different ways in ten different days,... a toast to words. tonys from moon base one,

@NatureLover just found you kite. thank you for reply. i best start by say that the length of a post and time to write. to a normal person ten pages may take half an hour. to some one with a serious brain injury, along with rest of my impedements it can take hours, and hours, spelling, dislexia, deformed hand, i wont keep going. its with good reason that i like my phone more than my computor. i hoping red horse is right, other wise i have a frequent issue that still remains unanswered. short supperfiscial kites like this. no problem, but those long ones you mentioned are the ones i like to read. i havnt found one yet. after a few dozen words some people really let the honesty and blood flow. it helps me to hear it and find the measure of myself against it. otherwise ill read the newspaper. i get we are all different and have to find our patch of blue here or keep searching. ill keep asking questions and learning where ever i go, and i know you cant be all things to all people. thankyou for weathering my questions. all the very best. tonys..

@Abner hope this goes to the right person. saw post about the verbal abuse you had to endure.. mate if i was there id give you a big hug and tell you every day is a fresh start.. youve learnt that the most dangerous animal in australia is man. i needed a loyal friends, i got some animals. it takes years to really get to know a person, and you will still never really know whats in there head. always make a friend with one eye open. im certain there are good genuine reliable folk out there. i just havnt found one yet. and now we cant step into someones face, look them in the eye and see if the warm face and welcome mat are just manufactured responses behind those eyes.. were all talking to a pile of wire and chips. we have to wipe the tiny, ''child labour" fingerprints of them before we can endlesly swipe like and dislike on our shiny new devices. you sound resillient and im sure the seas will part for you. as for me . i iook to the mountains that surround my lonely valley and thank them for standing guard. a prayer for you, tonys at moonbase one.

Regarding this, the homelessness discussion run by @TideisTurning was a "Topic Tuesday" live discussion which works like a normal thread, with people posting replies. However, once the discussion is over, the moderator locks the thread, meaning no more replies can be posted. That's why none of us can reply to that discussion now. But you can read it.
Topic Tuesdays run from 7pm - 8.30pm every second Tuesday.

@NatureLover @tyme thanks for solving that.. it still takes me a bit to find out about these things. when i look at my messeges. i have to arrow out back out of each one. then arrow back back in to the next and it is usually the same message, it might say some one else ..supported.. or..mentioned ..but its much of the same over and over. slow bush internet means it takes ages. then ill find a new message in a paddock ive already ploughed... so i think i can write a collection of thoughts down and send them in from time to time but beyond that my internet and dissabilities wont allow much more. on a different note, i lost one of my cows 2 nights back. late nights, hours on phone, mud, blood, rain, sorrow and loss. i was getting help over the phone from what i thought was an expert in her field, qualified, science grounded advice. only to find out later that she was a well meaning half qualified assistant. she wasnt thorough and complete. i should have known when she used the word,..i think.. if she said i dont know, or i dont have time to check my answers, i could have rung the vet in the neighbouring district. i had to explain to her next day that if she is providing a service theres nothing wrong with saying , i dont know for sure. any way, froze some samples for pathology. its not the first time ive dug a midnight grave in the rain, it wont be the last.... forgot to ask. the topic every fortnight,. is it a new topic each time or will the homeless topic be recanvased. hope you are all having some sunshine down there. in good faith. tonys

Hi @tonys, just a quick answer to your question. Yes, it's a new topic for each Topic Tuesday. Often topics are tied in with a broader event, eg last week's topic of housing insecurity and homelessness was timed with Homelessness Week. So it might come up at the same time next year 🙂
