Share a cuppa?

I've just made myself a cuppa and would love a friend if anyone is around?

Re: Share a cuppa?

No plans for this weekend @Former-Member Not raining but it’s cold so not planning being outdoor unless have to. Good weekend to sort through one of last few boxes I haven’t looked at since moving. Also have some paperwork need to do.

Re: Share a cuppa?

I'll just add this @Former-Member, I have a friend who used to criticise me whenever he rang me and I didn't answer my phone, or it was turned off, I would simply say to him "It's my phone, f... off. You do what you want with your phone, I'll do what I want with mine.". Control addicts will make the most ridiculous criticisms of us because something has stirred their control issues.

Re: Share a cuppa?

Thanks @Abner Her comment was “deactivated fb acct? Again”. There was nothing else. No asking if I’m ok etc. my reply was 2 fold. “It’s my fb acct and my decision what action I take.” “ think I’d like to have next few weeks just to me”. Couple weeks prior I didn’t react to message from her which was clearly showing she’s not coping with things and took her anger out on me.

Have some understanding she is going through highly stressful situation involving being left with large debts following her husband walking out on her but doesn’t excuse the behaviour. I feel sorry for her …. Almost 50 with daughter who is almost 12 (who has behaviour issues), 4 pets, doesn’t work and needs to find somewhere to rent she can afford. Know I need to put myself first though

Had rain here, mainly in evening and at night, for couple days recently.

Neighbour planted rest of my plants and it rained that evening, perfect timing.

worst of paperwork is done, thank goodness as was emotionally draining.

time to grab a blanket, curl up on the couch and watch a dvd

hoping your weekend goes well 🌻😸

You're showing great understanding @Former-Member, and a generosity of spirit you should be very proud of. When we're able to understand someone when they clearly aren't supportive of us for whatever reason, it shows we care, even when they're in their blindspots and can't. Good on you.
