My weekend has been good thanks. I met my friend for lunch yesterday and my boyfriend for lunch today. There's a heatwave for the three days of the long weekend here, so I didn't feel like going out, but glad I did (the air-con at the shops and library is much better than at home as well). I was hoping someone would reply, because I'm getting bored here.
How are you? What have you been up to?

I didn’t check the old messages here so in a minute I will go back and check your post. I am great apart from a bad cough. I am just chilling watching tv and looking at Sane. I get bored and lonely too. I am glad you had some nice outings over the weekend. Sounds really pleasant. Sorry about the hot weather. Thankfully it has been cooler here since March started.

I've been a bit ill for nearly 2 weeks, but got over it with the help of moderate exercise and a balanced diet and rest. I got to some Mardi Gras events, and was very pleased about that.
We're back at rehearsals at East Sydney Chamber Choir and Orchestra, and Collegium Musicum, and for the first time I'm involved in singing a heavy metal work of an 80s song called "Bad Romance". It turns out bass voices are very suited to heavy metal singing because we "fry" (slow down the vibration of our vocal chords when rubbing them together) really well. It's called "frying".
