Share a cuppa?
I've just made myself a cuppa and would love a friend if anyone is around?

Anyone up for a Sunday morning cuppa? @Abner @StuF @Appleblossom @Shaz51 @Former-Member
I’m on my bike in the sunshine. It’s lovely and warm.

I'm just coming back from church now if anyone's up for a cuppa and a sandwich. I got some really nice pickled beetroot and am looking forward to a delicious beetroot and avocado salad sandwich with an iced coffee.

Hey @Abner how was church today? I skipped going- we were having a picnic anyways and didn’t feel up to all the socialising.

Hi @Bow and @Abner
Ready for a cup of tea, thanks.
I hope church was good for you Abner and I hope you enjoy your picnic, Bow.
I am going to start having counselling again this week. CPTSD isn’t something that you can overcome alone.

It’s amazing when people say, get over it. @Bow @Abner

Yep I had a good night @StuF Cheers
@Former-Member Hearing you about CPTSD, and the "impatient ones" who make it very much harder.
@Abner Ha ... I have pickled beetroot in my salad tonight too!
@Bow Good to hear from you.
Had my 2 coffees today so just a chat will be lovely.

Where I am it's a beautiful day for a picnic!
Church was great as usual, it always is - I love the church I got to, it's very inclusive of LGBT people, people with mental health issues, people of every religion and of no religion, politically conservative people, and radically left wing, of all races - we've a very strong Koori attendance. My closest friend, Terry was a member, and still is though he passed away last year.
Anyway I've just had my sandwich, and am chewing the fat in German with a friend who speaks the language fluently. If you were to learn a language or languages which ones would you choose?

When people say "Get over it.". What they're really saying is that they feel confronted when they see people in anguish, and they don't handle it well.

I love beetroot. I'll send you a jar of my friend Miriam's pickled beetroot if you like, it's delicious.
