Share a cuppa?

I've just made myself a cuppa and would love a friend if anyone is around?

That must have been a lot of work to makes pasta from scratch @ArraDreaming ! I'm sorry it didn't work out. But it's the thought that matters.

Hey @Meowmy , hope you had a good day with the visitors.

Re: Share a cuppa?

i fully had a special pesto sauce ready to go, we ended up having toast after all that effort, I didn’t use a pasta maker but didn’t need to just rolled it out super thin it worked right up until the water @tyme
We had our visitors yesterday it was exhausting, they bought 4 kids with them, our kids went feral, actual feral. We weren’t really up for visitors but they were making a special trip.

Mums anniversary today.

and also I agree our kids are the same, probs a little too much screen time at the moment but all is forgiven when you have a newborn I feel like.
had the big kid helping me out to build a MTB jump today in yard though

It's nice to do things to remember on your mum's anniversary. Often, we link anniversaries to sadness, but maybe this is an opportunity to change that. Each anniversary, maybe you can do something special. She will always be a part of you. I'm sure she is watching you and smiling. @ArraDreaming

You make her proud 🙂

I'm here if you want a chat.

As for your visitors (including 4 extra kids).... yikes! It must have been....loud....lol. I hear how exhausting it would have been. Hope you recovered well.

Re: Share a cuppa?

today was a little bit sad @tyme I was ok in the day, spent it doing some things with the family, but now Im feeling it.

yeah I think we underestimated how crazy our house was going to be, they played outside for most of the day though so that was ok.
we are already pretty exhausted so that completley wiped us

Re: Share a cuppa?

It is understandable there is a sense of sadness @ArraDreaming . Yet amongst this sadness, there can be joy that you have brought another bub into the world that she can call her grandchild. Your mum may not be physically there, but I sense her spirit will always be around. Nicki is there to remind you. It's okay to feel sad. It's okay to grieve. And, it is okay to remember her.

I'm glad you had a pleasant day out. Embrace your family. Continue to tell them how much you love them. Treasure every single moment.

Hugs @ArraDreaming

this will make you laugh @tyme It made me laugh
we are so sleep deprived over here that l at like 4am this morning Mrs jay5 asked me to pass her the baby and I picked up a fake plant from the side table and gave it to her instead of the baby, she was like um why is it spikey 🤣🤣🤣

In response to: Re: Share a cuppa?

Re: Share a cuppa?

Number 1: Did you pass the fake plant over to her because you were sleep deprived, or was it a joke?

Number 2: Why in the world would a plant expert own a FAKE plant???? @ArraDreaming

LOL.... I'm laughing so much.... I'm imagining the whole situation. Is it 4 hourly feeds?

Re: Share a cuppa?

@tyme
I wish it was a joke., was quite funny though 😂

firstly, give me a break I don’t do the home decor 😂 secondly the other half can’t keep a plant alive to save herself, and thirdly, 4 hourly we wish jellyfish, every roughly 2 hours sometimes every hour sometimes more like 3, depends on the night we are having.
i stay up to watch tv/do the house jobs and let them both rest for a couple hours in the evening then I go bed when the little miss wakes up for her late night feed and I cuddle her back to sleep after.

i go back to work next week
