Share a cuppa?
I've just made myself a cuppa and would love a friend if anyone is around?

Hey @tyme
I read that friends give you meals through the week , how lovely
Was having a nothing planned day , when we had my 2 aunties and a uncle turned up to see my mum in hospital and then had a cuppa with us

Your day sounded pleasant @Shaz51 . How is mum anyway?
Also, yes, my friends do give me meals. I got 2 mexican rice with chicken meals dropped off to me this arvo. I am very grateful. Then this evening, my sister made chicken drumettes with salad for dinner.
I have found that if preparing food was left up to me, I eat what I 'feel like'. This is not good because it means I love that food and tend to over eat. While if others cook, and I dont necessarily 'love' the food, I then pay attention to whether I am hungry rather than eating for the sake of eating what i like.
Such a complicated story...

Totally understand @tyme
I made a zucchini quiche for dinner and enough for dinner tomorrow night
Had to put the remainder away quick so my husband would not eat more 😁
Mum is OK, good days and bad days , and she is getting people names mixed up

It must've tasted awesome @Shaz51 ! LOL.
As for mum, at this stage, as much as she gets people's names mixed up, as long as she's happy - that's quality of life.
Are you working tomorrow?

Does your aunty manage the op shop? @Shaz51 - Do you like the work there?
In response to: Re: Share a cuppa?

My aunty is 85 and has been helping at the op shop for the last 30 years I think
@tyme
She now has her daughter who just retired helping at the shop
My mum used to work there until now
I would not be consistent enough at the moment to help out yet ,
too much going on at the moment with everything else
I have applied for the DSP and still waiting for a answer
Seeing my specialists next month
