Share a cuppa?

Share a cuppa?

I've just made myself a cuppa and would love a friend if anyone is around?

I've been feeling pretty average too @ArraDreaming . Like you, nothing big has happened. I just don't feel like I'm getting anything done (maybe I'm not!). I just need that spark to get started again.

I wonder is the crazy weather here in Melb has anything to do with it? It's freezing, then hailing, then sunny, then pouring rain - all within the space of a few minutes!!!

What's the weather like where you are?

Also, have your boys conducted any more 'science' experiments?

@tyme It’s the weather, it’s getting me down I don’t cope well without the sun, I do like a rainy day here and there but this has been going on for too long, it definitely is helping and then today I felt my tolerance was already so poor from the minute I woke up I was in a bad mood one of those days I just think can I really get anything right?

“Doing science” happens every day here I have just told the oldest that it’s fine to science just have to be watched by someone. I’m not sure if yhe “snowball” fight I saw happening between the two with matchbox cars was classed as experiment or not but whatever. not in the mood today

Re: Share a cuppa?

So true.. I was standing outside in the cold wind for an hour watching kids play basketball @ArraDreaming .. I did not like it at all, but I felt I should cheer the kids on... I came back so foul. It's true, the sun has healing powers. I was waiting for the sun to come out.... but weather is miserable.

As for having to leave the house. That's totally okay. If that's what helps, go for it.

And also, it's okay to have 'crap' days sometimes. I'm a peer support worker, and I also have lousy days. After all, I'm human. It'll be odd if I didn't have lousy days. Main thing is, I have now learnt that these days are part of the MH cycle, and this is totally okay.

I used to get upset that I was upset and in turn, it made me more upset... I've learnt this doesn't help. Sit in the space, and let it lift in its time.

You are welcome to send us an email on team@saneforums.org if you feel there is something more pressing you'd like to talk about.

Here's a hug @ArraDreaming . Sometimes, a hug can make all the difference.

(apologies if it doesn't help)

Are you at home now? Or are you out?
