I've just made myself a cuppa and would love a friend if anyone is around?

I pushed myself to mingle, and I'm glad I did @Former-Member @Bow - to me, it was a huge achievement, so i'm happy about that.
Here's your decaf flat white - to perfection!

Beautiful and @tyme well done with the wedding 👍. Sounds like you did really well 😊.
I have something coming up that I'm really nervous about too - you are inspiring I admire your courage.

Hahaha @Bow - I felt like I was wearing a hessian bag! It was a light, pinkish dress my sister gave me this morning (because I was crying out that I had nothing to wear). I added a metallic belt to it and a white dressy jacket to cover up the unsightly lol.
By the way, I'm having a hot choc with REAL choc too. So here's one each:
What did you get up to today? @Bow @Former-Member ?
I can't believe how quiet the forums are.

I need one of those awesome hot chocolates if I can too please @tyme.
I had dinner with my Dad and worked. Watching a movie on Netflix now.

That sounds like a nice outfit @tyme !
i had my ng tube put in this morning and the xray that followed. My mum and daughter came to visit which was really nice… we played some games, did some colouring in. Watched a bit of Netflix etc too. Nurse has just told me I won’t be getting any room mates overnight as they have closed the bed next to me… which is nice!

It's school holidays whete I live so maybe the parents are too exhausted to be on the forum hahaha
Those hot chocolates look so delicious!
I've worked today and then planned out activities for some time off. Library, movies, baking, art exhibitions etc. It's exciting to think of all the fun stuff

Sure @Former-Member ,
You can have the first hot choc I made, and I'll make another for myself.
Yes, there are many things in life we can be nervous about, but if we avoid them, then we will never know what it would be like to experience it.
I know I don't like socialising. But I made myself go because I don't want to be hiding for the rest of my life.
Even though you are nervous about you task, if you go with the mindset that it will be good for you, even if it comes out a flop, you will say it was worth it.

I'm glad you got to spend some time with your daughter @Bow - I know she's missing you.
Hopefully you can get some sleep tonight seeing you don't have any roomates!
@Patchworks - so true! I'm sure there are a lot of rowdy kids everywhere seeing it's school holidays. Parents must be tearing their hair out trying to get their kids to sleep. I've made a hot choc for you too!
